This is one of those controversial subjects in the Fitness industry. On the one hand, you have people who think these 3 exercises are the most essential of all exercises, and on the other hand you have people like me who think there are way better exercises out there.
If you are looking to get super strong, then these 3 exercises are great! But, if you are looking to build a Gorilla chest, monster legs, and a thick back, then there are way better exercises out there (in my opinion).
The Barbell Bench Press for example, great exercise but compared to the Dumbbell Bench Press, it doesn't compare to the muscle building tactics the DB bench has. The Range of Motion, the stretch at the bottom of the movement, the mind muscle connection, all these are far better with the DB bench.
You are far more likely to get injured doing one of these "Compound Lifts". The risk to reward ratio is way out of whack. If you are doing an exercise where one millisecond of lost concentration can really injure you, that is not worth it for me.
Unless you are a powerlifter, or just trying to get super strong, there is no need to do any of these exercises.
